Friday, test day.
It was quite warm and dry and testing went well, on the 4th session it rained so I came in and we quickly changed the tyres to wets.
Saturday, Race day
After the test sessions we had qualifying and I was out in the first group, it was going well untill on my best lap which was 3 tenths faster by the second split someone turned in on me at the end of the straight and it cost me a lot of time and speed, but for this I could have made pole if i could have kept the 3 tenths till the end of the lap, but i ended up 18th.
Heat 1.
It was nice and sunny and dry, I started 12th and had a bad start losing a lot of places, during the race I battled back through the field to finish 7th.
Sunday.
Heat 2.
It was wet so we had to use new tyres and scrub them in during the race, i started 12th again and had another bad start, my carb went down half way through and i ended up 13th.
Final 1.
It had dryed and i had qualified 14th, I had another bad start and dropped to 21st by the end of the first lap, i battled my way back up to finish 12th.
Final 2.
I started 12 and had a good start and soon made my way to 8th and set about closing down the leading pack, it took about 8 laps to catch them, 2 laps from the end i made my move on Nathan Aston and at the next corner I passed James Kellett, but left the door open at the next one and lost the places back, in the end i finished 8th.
I am now in 8th place in the championship.

GYG April 2010
Saturday, test day.
It was a bit cold at first but nice and sunny and it soon warmed up, I had a really good test day and in 2 sessions I broke the lap record and was looking foward to a good race day.
Sunday, Race day.
It was cold in the morning and a bit cloudy, the sun only came out every now and then so the track was slower than Saturday.
Qualifying.
I qualified 3rd with my teamates Johnny in 2nd and Cameron Roberts on his first day with the team on Pole.
Heat 1
I started 2nd and went straight to first place at the start and went on to win the race, but when we weighed in i was slightly under the weight limit so I was excluded, oops!
Heat 2
I started 2nd again and held my position at the start, I had a good battle with Johnny & Ross Martin and on the last lap I was second and as I planned to do a switchback on Johnny I left the door open for Ross to sneak up my inside, so I ended up 3rd.
Final
After the exclusion I was on P23 right at the back. On the start I made up about 10 places by the second corner and a few more by the end of the first lap, I then worked my way through the field and made a couple of mistakes letting people back past me which cost me valuable time, I got clear of the pack and started to chase down Ross Martin, I was nearly 1/2 a second a lap quicker but there were not enough laps left to catch him, I finished 4th.

GYG test day April 2010
I went to GYG to run some engines in, test some carbs and put some time on the new chassis which was still a bit stiff.
By dinner the chassis had started to work with a few changes and i was lapping consistentley at a tenth above the lap record.

Hooton test day April 2010
I went to Hooton park, the circuit I started karting at, to try to get my new chassis to work, I was trading fastest times all day with my team mate Johnny, except the last session when my carb went down.
FKS Round 1 & 2 Rowrah, April 2010
Friday, Test day.
It was quite cold and a bit damp but I tested on slicks with my brand new chassis, we tried all day to get the chassis to work but I was a bit off the pace all day so I decided to go back to my old chassis for Saturday.
Saturday, Race day round 1
I hadn't used my old chassis on friday so it was a gamble, we had a lot of data from earlier meetings and our base set up worked really well and I qualified 8th in my group.
Heat 1
I started P7 and made a place up on the start and made my way up to 5th, my best result in a national championship.
Heat 2
The kart wouldnt start on the grid so i ended up 3/4 of a lap down at the start and managed to get a couple of places back.
B final
I Started P2 and at the start moved straight into the lead and stayed there till the end
A final
I started P27 and at the start I had to avoid a spinning kart, losing me time and spoiling my chance to make up some places on the first lap, I worked my way up to 18th by the chequered flag, not as good as i had hoped but at least i scored some good points.
Sunday Round 2
I qualified a bit better and i was looking forward to the heats
Heat 1
I had a good start from P7 making up 2 places at the start, but lost one of them soon after, I maintained 6th place untill the finish.
Heat 2
I started P7 again and gained 3 places on the first lap but during the race i dropped to 8th
A final
I started P12 and was aiming for a top 10 finish but at the chicane i was rammed from behind, putting me on the grass and a kart ran over my nose cone and foot, i ended up almost last and a long way off the leaders, I managed to work my way through the field and the kart felt really good untill someone tried to fire me at hairpin 2, it cost me a few places and a lot of time and I now had problems with the handling because it had knocked the steering out of line and put a twist in the chassis, I ended up finishing 19th, not as good as I had hoped but the best I could do after being fired. My fastest time was 2 hundredths faster than Tom Harvey who won the race.
